Oyster Bay, New York is located on Long Islands beautiful north shore. It is a town where time has stood still. You can still see pre-Revolutionary war houses in the same way they were seen 200 years ago. Or visit Sagamore hill where Teddy Roosevelt resided and is laid to rest. You can visit Raynem Hall where the Townsend family resided and learn of the history behind this museum, and lets not forget the bay a picture that should be on a postcard. Boating, fishing, swimming and just plain fun. Well this is where my family and I live, Oyster Bay. Here is part of an article written BY CAROL HERNANDEZ. STAFF WRITER for Newsday. I Thought the article captured the spirit and feel for this small town and Ms. Hernandez did such a fine job (better then I could have) describing Oyster Bay that I had to use it. I hope she doesn't mind,
In compliance with FORTUNECITY rules there are NO MP3 files on this site. This site is here just to give you some insight on new breaking technology that is already in the audio field. There will be information on the MP3 format and links to sites where you can get these files. There are many illegal bootleg files that are on the web, and this is the case the music industry has put forward. On the other hand MP3 gives the little known artist with limited resources a chance to be heard. There are tons of absolutely legal and free music to listen too and download. So jump right in and enjoy. GO MP3
I like most music, Classic Rock, R & B, Dance. The Blues Is another story I love the blues, Three Chords that take a life time to master, and improvisations that flow through your body with the warmth of a sip of Jack. Oh I forgot to say I am a Blues Guitarist. I have been inspired by all of the blues greats BB and Albert King, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, and of course the Rock lengends, Hendix, Page, Stevie Ray, and the man himself Eric Clapton. His recent release " Back to The Cradle " takes you back to the Juke Joints, and the Mississippi Delta. His smooth licks and perfect timing carries you through the song and hits you where you feel it the most the heart. The Blue Mood will have music links but mostly Blues links.
Here I am My RigOf course there is the computer, I 'm a novice at all of this. I have no trouble getting around the computer or the web. I have even put a few hardware items in a number of computers. My first was a Commadore 64 which I really got into. The guitar and work kept me away from it for a few years. Then it hit like an explosion, "The Web". Since then I have had four computers in roughly six years, from a Pentium 60 to my present I am running a Sony Pentium II 266, 96 megs ram, ATI All In Wonder, Hp CD-RW and ScanJet 5p, Cable Modem well you get the picture. Ok...Ok.., sorry about the Rant. Everyone take it easy and I'll see you on the web. Check out the Computing page for links.
